The FAVORS Glossary is an academic self-help margin comments blog designed primarily as a teaching tool for English and writing professors. The sub-tabs provide insight into how we have structured the blog for easy reading and retrieval of information.

The glossary houses approximately 60 categories, over 350 posts, and more than 170 margin comments with references to literary works, tables, figures, and revision writing checklists.

The glossary also includes a case study of a student’s sample paper on Steinbeck’s “Chrysanthemums,” suggestions for in-class group and homework activity exercises, and analysis revision tasks.

Under “Guide” we provide information and links to various posts housed on the site. This guide will help you locate information quickly.

If you have any questions, please submit a request for information via our contact form.

Thank you for visiting The FAVORS Glossary.
